Dr. Mutha Hospital, was started by Dr. B K Mutha in 1996, since then this institute has grown several folds in the field of Pulmonology. This institute has served the people of Nashik and North Maharashtra and has become one of the premier institutes in the field of Pulmonary Medicine.
Initially started as a 12 bedded hospital with OPD and IPD facilities and developed as a institute with all diagnostic and treatment facilities for chest diseases. It is the first institute to start doing pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy , sleep study and non-invasive ventilator facilities in Nashik.
Even today this institute is growing and developing day by day to give better diagnosis and treatment to it s patients. In 2014 it has expanded to 40 bedded hospital.
This year there were several developments. First being that of Dr Abhinandan B Mutha, son of Dr B K Mutha who has also completed his post graduation in Pulmonary Medicine has joined as a full time consultant. Secondly we have upgraded the diagnostic facilities by now using new Olympus 170 serise broncoscope and a new full polysomnoghy machine for sleep study. We have also started doing medical thoracoscopy also.
